Privacy Policy

1. Operator and Scope

Bodily Truth is operated by Bryan True. This Policy applies to bodilytruth.com, booking.bodilytruth.com, Bodily Truth forms and communications, appointments, multi-dream interpretations, and other services expressly offered under this Policy.

The Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy governs personal information that qualifies as consumer health data. The Cookie and Similar Technologies Notice governs cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies.

2. Categories of Personal Information

Bodily Truth may collect the following categories of personal information:

• Identifiers and communications: name, email address, messages, and correspondence.
• Eligibility and appointment information: age and residency affirmations, service type, booking status, date, time, timezone, and scheduling history.
• Service information: intake and return responses, bodily observations, daily functioning, diet, allergy, supplement or herbal-use information, medication-taking or change status, current challenges, dream narratives, dream timing, and related context.
• Transaction information: purchase, payment status, refund, dispute, and fulfillment information. Bodily Truth does not collect complete payment-card numbers or card security codes through its own forms.
• Service records: appointment history, submitted materials, practitioner notes, and related administrative records.
• Derived information: limited educational inferences derived from submitted intake information.
• Consent and compliance information: affirmations, policy versions, timestamps, privacy requests, restrictions, appeals, disputes, and legal holds.
• Technical information: IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser characteristics, requested resource, request time, protocol, security signals, and diagnostic information.

Bodily Truth does not request payment-card numbers, government identifiers, account credentials, medical records, or emergency information through its service forms or ordinary email. Unstructured communications may contain additional information voluntarily supplied by the sender.

3. Sources of Personal Information

Bodily Truth collects personal information directly from individuals; from scheduling, payment, communications, and other service providers; automatically from browsers, devices, networks, and security services; and by deriving limited information from submitted service information.

4. Purposes of Processing

Bodily Truth may collect, use, organize, analyze, store, retrieve, disclose, correct, restrict, and delete personal information for the following purposes:

• respond to inquiries and manage related communications;
• determine eligibility and schedule, administer, reschedule, or cancel appointments;
• prepare for and provide requested educational appointments or dream interpretations;
• maintain client, appointment, service, practitioner-note, and consent records;
• process transactions, refunds, disputes, fulfillment, and required financial records;
• deliver communications and administer services;
• protect the website and services, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and respond to incidents;
• administer privacy requests, restrictions, corrections, appeals, retention, and legal holds; and
• comply with law and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

5. Derived Information and Automated Decisions

Bodily Truth may derive a provisional educational inference from submitted intake information for practitioner review. The inference is not a medical diagnosis or clinical conclusion. Bodily Truth does not use personal information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

6. Disclosures and Recipient Categories

Bodily Truth may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably necessary for the purposes stated in this Policy:

Recipient access is limited to the applicable function. Bodily Truth does not represent that every recipient receives every category of personal information.

7. Consumer Health Data

Appointment, intake, return, dream, and health-related contact information may qualify as consumer health data even though Bodily Truth provides educational rather than medical services. The Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy governs those categories, purposes, disclosures, consents, and rights.

8. Cookies, Tracking, and Data Sales

The Cookie and Similar Technologies Notice describes the technologies used on the site and available controls.

Bodily Truth does not sell personal information, use personal information for targeted or behavioral advertising, disclose client records to advertising platforms or data brokers, or use client submissions to train generative-AI models.

Bodily Truth does not collect, or knowingly permit another party to collect through the Bodily Truth website, personal information about an individual's online activities over time and across unaffiliated websites for behavioral advertising. The site therefore does not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Legally applicable universal opt-out signals will be honored for processing subject to those signals.

9. Retention

Identified client, appointment, form, dream-order, and practitioner-note records are generally retained for seven calendar years from the applicable appointment, submission, transaction, or record date.

Administrative form notifications are generally retained for 90 days. Ordinary contact messages and client replies are generally retained for one year. Privacy-request cases are retained for three years after closure, appeals for at least 24 months, incident records for seven years after closure, and vendor due-diligence records for the relationship term plus six years.

Transaction, tax, accounting, booking, communications, security, and provider records may be retained for periods established by law, legitimate recordkeeping requirements, or the applicable provider. Legal holds, disputes, fraud or security review, and other legal duties may suspend ordinary deletion. Deletion from backups or systems controlled by another entity may occur according to applicable law and that entity's retention processes.

10. Security

Bodily Truth maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature and volume of personal information processed. Access is restricted to authorized persons and service providers that require the information for the purposes stated in this Policy.

No transmission, website, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. The Privacy & Security page provides a noncontractual summary of current safeguards.

11. Privacy Rights and Requests

Depending on where you reside and the law that applies, you may have rights to confirm processing; access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; withdraw consent; obtain information about recipients; restrict certain processing; opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling; and appeal a denied request.

A request must be submitted to [email protected] or the postal address below and identify the right, service, and email address involved. Bodily Truth uses proportionate verification, ordinarily by confirming control of the relevant email address and matching limited information already held. Additional information may be required only when reasonably necessary to authenticate a request.

Bodily Truth will respond within the period required by applicable law. A 45-day response period and one lawful 45-day extension apply where required. Requests are ordinarily processed without charge, and privacy rights may be exercised without unlawful discrimination. Authorized-agent requests will be recognized where required by law.

12. Consent Withdrawal and Processing Restrictions

Consent to future collection or processing of consumer health data may be withdrawn, and a future-processing restriction may be requested, through the methods stated in Section 11. Withdrawal does not invalidate processing completed before receipt and does not itself delete existing records. Deletion must be requested separately.

Bodily Truth may be unable to continue a requested service when the restricted information is necessary to provide or administer that service.

13. Eligibility, International Processing, and External Services

The website and services are intended for individuals age 18 or older. Client services are limited to eligible U.S. residents, although public material may be accessible more broadly.

Bodily Truth uses a U.S. business mailing address and may be managed internationally. Personal information may be processed in the United States and other countries in which Bodily Truth or its service providers operate. Privacy protections may differ between jurisdictions.

Cal.com and Stripe host the scheduling and payment transactions through which individuals directly provide information to those services. Substack and other linked external services maintain their own terms and privacy practices. The Bodily Truth Substack publication is governed by separate publisher policies.

14. Changes and Contact Information

Bodily Truth may amend this Policy to reflect changes in law, services, or data practices. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes will be notified by posting the revised Policy on this page and, when required, through direct electronic or service notice. Additional consent will be obtained before materially new regulated collection, use, or disclosure where required.
